Wow! What a gloomy day it is in the Park. I called the boys & girls to our apartment a little earlier. So that we could quickly grab our gloves and play a little baseball in the park today. If you look outside, I seem to think we can get a good game in or at least have a little fun. Then there is a knock on the door. My sister yells, "Some one is at the door." I went and answered it, and it was my tall friend George. I'm really short compared to this guy. He is HUGE; his hand is so big we had to handmake him a leather glove. He came to ask about his glove. But I told him i have already dropped it off at his apartment. He said, " well lets go and see if we can find it." So i yelled to my sis', " were going to his apartment to see if we can find his glove." She just yelled back, "don't take too long." When we stepped into his apartment we found his glove, or what used to be his glove. The dog had chewed it up. Each of us looked at each outher. All I could say was,"sorry man." Well, he said," lets go round up the gang." Lets start at the maddison apartments and get Joe. Then well go to Jills house. And try to find Joe at one of his friends houses.

remembering 9/11

Eight years ago, i was in the second grade. I do not remember who class we were in or what we were doing. Mostly all i remember about the tragic even was watching it on tv and wondering what was going on.
Twenty years from now i still believe that we will still remember it. When hundreds even thousands of American lives were lost. We probably will not remember it as good as we do today. But it will not be forgotten.
I think the terrorist chose America was that they thought we were weak and that a blow to the heart of us (the twin towers) would weaken us. But all they did was make us mad and stronger. They did not choose another country because they thought we were best fit for the job.
They were tons of people affected by this event. Not just the familys that lost there loved ones during the attack. But that this event started a war. And some of there loved ones went off to fight it. I know lots of people like that. They are all over the nation, probably in every town.
If i was to write a story about 9/11 it would be over a small child. Whose life took a tragic turn after this event. Because its not really this generation that would be affected the most. It would be the next.

friendship bellringer

Friendship, because if you have good, reliable friends you always have someone that has your back. But if you don't have a good friendship with someone they could either turn on you like what happens in the story. Or you just don't have anyone and you all alone.

The Lovely Bones

From what i have read of the summery it sounds like an interesting book to read. Its a murder of a girl. Which makes the book into a mystery. And mystery novels are fun to read. It sounds interesting, i mean the summery pulled me into the book. And i don't even like to read much. We should read this in class. It is a book that i think the whole class would enjoy and like to read.
